The majority of the invertebrate fossils that are exhibited here were collected from the Old Hunton town site unless otherwise noted, and were surface collected, or occasionally retrieved through breaking of the layers of rock. There are also some trilobites that are from the Haragan formation at Black Cat Mountain. Some of these specimens were collected by friends of mine, and the remainder were found by me either during the early 1980s, or from 2003 continuing to the present. This exhibit is meant to showcase some of the variety of fauna that are preserved in these Lower Devonian rocks that originate only in Oklahoma.
